CSP Veronica Akpa-Ameh: The pride of Woman Police.

In a World like ours, greatness is desired by all, while some are born great, others hit the fortunate path in the course of life struggle.

SP Veronica Akpa-Ameh was not just born great, but has also widened her horizon to achieve greatness.

Indisputably the society is compartmentalised into three categories of people. The first set of people are those who make things happen, the second category comprised those who watch things happen while the third category consists of people who wonder what happened. Those who have had the privilege of close contact with the DPO of Ejigbo Divisional Police Officer of Lagos State ,CSP Veronica Akpa-Ameh would in truth confirm that she does not belong to the last two categories of mankind who either watch things happen or wonder how things happen.

Rather she appropriately belongs to the first category of those who make things happen.

CSP Veronica Akpa-Ameh has been a great Senior Police leader with a different undiluted commitment to excell. She has successfully paddled the administrative canoe of Ejigbo Divisional Police headquarters in Lagos State leading other police officers in operations chasing armed robbers both day and night without capsizing.

Veronica Akpa-Ameh is a fantastic human being, an administrative juggernaut an indefatigable leader per excellence, so intelligent, so dignified, simple, extremely humble and above all, she is a woman with sweet voice of high intellectual capacity and excellent demeanor.

The DPO Ejigbo police station has been very human which police Officer who believes what a man can do, a woman can do better. She was the Officer in charge of (SIIB)

CSP Veronica Akpa-Ameh was born in Jos, Plateau State. A native of Otukpa Ogbafibo, Benue state.

Vero attended Catherine primary school, Markudi and proçeeded to Saint Annes Secondary School, Otukpo and later to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and bagged a Bsc degree in Business Administration in 1999. Not done yet she enrolled she went back to her Alumni ABU Zaria for her master degree in Business Administration in 2004.

The rugged intelligent woman police was enlisted into the Nigerian Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2002.She did her mandatory National Youth Service. She had her first posting to Katsina state and also served at various parts in the North before she was posted to Lagos as Officer -in -Charge of Gbagada police post in 2008 and 2009.

She also served at Lagos State CID Panti and later transferred to State Intelligence Investigative Bureau (SIIB). Through hard working and dedication to serve, she is today the DPO in charge of Ejigbo Divisional police, in Lagos State.
