Lagos now calm, has lowest crime rate…. CP Adegoke Fayoade.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade made a triumphant entry into the center of excellence less than a year ago. He pledged to curb the rate of crime in the state and without wasting time he swung into action.

Since then the Lagos State Police command has intensified it’s war against crime in state.

In an exclusive interview with City Express News at his Ikeja Office last Wednesday he said that with his operational strategy coupled with good Area Commanders, and the hardworking Divisional Police Officers working with him, crime rate has gone to the lowest level and he can go to sleep with his two eyes closed.

He said Lagos State is now peaceful and calm. “Don’t let me lie to you Lagos people are friendly to police and at the same time very intelligent, so they know what Lagos State does not tolerate such as robbery, cultism, political violence, thuggery and criminality.

CP Adegoke Fayoade noted that Lagos is classified as most peaceful and with lowest crime rate in the country. “We do have some challenges but they are under control.”

He commended the Lagos State Government for its assistance and also the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeola Egbetokun. CP Fayoade was full of praises for IGP Egbetokun for chosen him as the CP for Lagos State among many others.

He gave kudos to IGP Egbetokun for what he has done and is still doing in policing Nigeria. CP Adegoke Fayoade pledged not to relent in his efforts to ensure adequate protection of lives and property.

He warned criminals to desist from crime as police in Lagos State will not condone any unlawful act in the state.
