As Muslims celebrate the Eid – Al Adha festival, the APC Organizing Secretary in the South West of Nigeria, Honourable Lateef Ibirogba has called on Muslims to continue to imbibe the lessons of the festival and show love to others, exhibit discipline and keep to the tenets of Islam.
Honourable Ibirogba therefore advised the people to extend their generosity to the less privileged in the society for them to also enjoy the season.
Honourable Ibirogba said the festival as one the cardinals of Islam must not be misconstrued advising those who could not afford to kill rams to continue to keep faith, and thank God for the gift of life
Speaking with CityExpressNews Editor, Afolabi Oyekunle, Honourable Lateef Ibirogba also called on Nigerians to continue to support President Bola Tinubu administration as his Renewed Hope Agenda is to better the lots of Nigerians.
Honourable Ibirogba said the administration has shown that it’s serious and want to take Nigeria out of the doldorum and therefore deserve the support of all.

He said Nigeria is not only the country having economy challenges but other countries citizens support their country to get out while in Nigeria some people want to pull the country down.
Honourable Ibirogba called on the people to shun selfishness and embrace the interest of the country so that Nigeria can have progress.
Speaking on the demands by labour of a new minimum wage of 250thousand naira, Houurable Ibirogba said the economy cannot sustain the amount and called on them to be realistic.
He said what labour should advocate for is to reduce cost of goods and services as any abitrary increase in minimum wage would cost inflation.
Honourable Ibirogba advised Labour to go into large scale farming to help address food shortage in the country.
