Petition to AIG against threat to life.

Dear Sir,

PETITION OF FRAUD, THREATS TO LIFE, INTIMIDATION, CONDUCT LIKELY TO BREACH OF PEACE

We are solicitors to Ambassador Felix Duke, hereafter referred to as “our client” and our client has instructed us to write and address this petition to you in respect of the above mentioned subject matter as follows:

Sir, we are Human Right and Legal Practitioners, whose functions include speaking and brokering peace between aggrieved parties, deprived citizen as well as exposing crime and reporting human rights abuses and injustice to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.

That the event that gave rise to this impasse was that some two and half months ago, our client purchased a hotel named Infinity Hotel at Abule-Egba, Lagos State, our client met Mr. Seun as a lodger, who have been lodging at the hotel before the hotel was sold to him. The lodger, Mr. Seun promised to continue to maintaining his executive room which is N20, 000 on a daily basis.

The man who claimed to be a businessman has refused to pay his room for the past two and half months which amount to one Million Four Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira. N1,480,000. He allegedly, knowingly and fraudulently packed out from the room without payment.

That when our client discovered that Mr. Seun has checked out in connivance with some workers that refused to remit money to the Hotel management. That those who are directly thus standing and illegally/ criminally gain from such conduct has been sacked.

Sir it may interest you and noteworthy that the same Lodger Mr Seun is now threatening our client to forget about the payment. That Mr. Seun, knowing, intentionally cunning, and deliberately, frivolously and defraud our client to amount of One Million Eight Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira (N1,480,000,000).

That Mr. Seun has the courage to be threatening our client over his money. The former ledger has boasted to eliminate our client with his cult members.

Our client has abandoned his hotel and house for safety. The intimidation and harassment thereafter, so potent and death threat, which is an attempt to silence our client and deprive him to get his money.

The alleged suspect has vowed to cause our client bodily harm and threat to kill him with potential of imminent violent action against the complainant, if he does not stop asking for his money.

Sir, we therefore appreciate your co–operation in this matter as you always treat cases affecting the poor and rich alike with quick dispensation of Justice.

Please, we appeal to AIG to use his esteemed good office and arrest this culprit to face the full wrath of the law.

The conduct of Mr. Seun may likely be prejudicial and breach of peace and injustice. Please accept the assurance of our chamber’s highest estimation.
